Alfred Rõude: Collector with a Mission
The exhibition is dedicated to the art collector Alfred Rõude (1896–1968), whose mission included systematically collecting the best of Estonian contemporary art. Visitors will now have the opportunity to acquaint themselves with Rõude’s favourite artists.

The multimedia guide allows the collector’s attributions and legends to be compared to the museum’s objective information, revealing the value and meaning of the works for the collector, and the broader cultural importance of the collection.

Collection of Johannes Mikkel: the Art of Western Europe, Russia, and China from 16th to 20th centuries. The best of Johannes Mikkel’s collection is displayed on the first floor of the palace kitchen building in Kadriorg.
