Collector with a Mission: Alfred Rõude
The exhibition is dedicated to the art collector Alfred Rõude (1896–1968), from whose rich collection over 12,000 works have been acquired by the Art Museum of Estonia. His mission included systematically collecting the best of Estonian contemporary art. Visitors will now have the opportunity to acquaint themselves with Rõude’s favourite artists (Eduard Wiiralt, Konrad Mägi et al.), who are still honoured figures in our cultural history. Curator: Anu Allikvee.
